For those of us, including Shannon Tweed, who thought there was no chance that Gene Simmons would actually make it to the altar, we’ve got good news. When he got engaged to his girlfriend of 28 years, the KISS rocker was serious about walking down the aisle with her.
Gene and Shannon are finally tying the knot on October 1st at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California. They have already sent out the cute invitations to the event, as well. In the invitations, their daughter Sophie wrote, “There will no longer be a Team Tweed or a Team Simmons but instead a Team Tweed-Simmons.” The invitations also included a family picture drawn by their son, Nick.
Expect this one to be an affair of rock royalty! It’s about time, Gene!
